Mother Water (2010)

The Kamo river is the artery around which Kyoto was set and exists and it is the lives of the regular citizens and business owners of this setting that Mother Water observes. There is a tofu maker, a cafe owner and a barmaid. Then there are their customers, acquaintances and neighbours. They cross the river, interact and chitchat with the historic city sprawling around them.
