Akmens un skembas (1967)

Three friends (Janis, Zigis, and Ricards) serve in the Latvian Legion during the Second World War. Zigis dies, trying to join Red Army later in the war. Twenty years later Janis and Ricards meet. Ricards understands that he has lost everything - the love of Antra, a friend, and the Fatherland.
