Kabarett, Kabarett (2010)

Documentary journey through time through the history of political cabaret in Germany, focusing on what happened in the post-war period in East and West, but also recalling the cabarets in the Nazi concentration camps. The film introduces important representatives of this kleinkunst art form, questions their motivations and provides insights into their working methods. It becomes clear that a certain anger at the existing political situation is definitely beneficial to the success of a cabaret program.
