Still clinging to a young man's dreams, a 30-something professional revives his youthful vision of summits and faint trails and abandons work and the city. The Love Letter follows a pair of climbers in search of new and classic routes across the spine of California's Range of Light. In the clutter of the modern world, can wilderness restore the human spirit? Shot over the course of a seven-week, 300-mile-long back country climbing trip through the Sierra, The Love Letter is a short adventure film more concerned with the points and people between summits than individual climbing moves.
