Winter's Tale (2014)

Set in New York between the late 19th century and the present day, the film centers on Peter Lake, a thief who intends to rob a house and meets his heiress, Beverly Penn, who is suffering from tuberculosis. As Peter tries to save her life, he discovers that he is part of a prophetic struggle against a malevolent demon that goes against his love. Jessica Brown Findlay stands out in this fantasy romance with an attractive production design, the directorial debut of Akiva Goldsman (screenwriter of "I Am Legend" and "I, Robot").
