Blood on Canvas (2013)

Inspired by true events, "Blood on Canvas", a legal drama thriller, follows the intersecting lives of a talented and struggling artist, Emma, and an ambitious and brash young lawyer, Henry. Henry's client is Emma, an aspiring San Francisco painter who escapes from her domineering mother and tumultuous home life to follow her dreams and artistic aspirations. In her quest for freedom, she finds herself in a violently passionate romance with the dangerous John Arenas. Henry, while working on his biggest life-changing case yet, struggles to find truth and redemption for Emma and ultimately, for himself, in the midst of danger lurking behind every corner and the secretive and powerful Arenas family on his heels.
