Sobre ruedas (2011)

The automobile drove us towards the dream of the consumer society. Nearly 100 years later, this documentary reflects on the social and environmental consequences of the materialization of this promise. A car for each individual and each pocket. The documentary is based on a selection of interviews with several experts in different fields like town planning, philosophy, or engineering, which leads to reflection on the transformation of our daily environment and our life due to the car. The story is told through animated cartoons, present day images and archive material from the 1950s.
