With her lovingly run junk shop, Katharina Wallner looks like a relic from bygone times. Only lovers of old films from the 60s occasionally browse their extensive range - consisting of film posters, poster photos and dusty props. Now the new house owner Heinz Ortner is doing everything in his power to give her notice, because he wants to renovate the building in a luxurious way. Since the previous owner issued her a lifelong lease, Ortner tries to poke the old lady out with insidious harassment. One night, Katharina is unexpectedly visited by her glamorous sister Hannah Laval, with whom she has had no contact for over 40 years. Hannah is terminally ill, she doesn't have much time left. Nevertheless, she encourages Katharina not to simply give up in her fight against the homeowner. The next morning, Ortner lies in the stairwell with his skull smashed in. Did he fall to his death while drunk - or was there help? Ortner's lover Mirjana has a valid motive: She had a violent argument with her patron, who repeatedly made immoral offers to her daughter Lena. During his investigation, Inspector Graumann also met Katharina, whose passion for films he shares. He soon suspects the mysterious Hannah, but Katharina tries to keep her sister out of everything. Ultimately, Graumann makes a discovery that amazes even the most experienced police officer.
