Faces of Compassion

Faces of Compassion is a documentary film about the rising tide of advocacy and activism for the creation of a no-kill nation; bringing to light the overwhelming dilemma facing public animal shelters and the animals sent to them, the underlying causes contributing to the staggering numbers of healthy, adoptable companion animals euthanised each year in the U.S. alone and what can be/is being done to create and implement effective alternatives to the current kill shelter model. Faces of Compassion provides an up-close, personal account of these issues as told by some of the individuals who are working to shift the current paradigm by invoking change in public awareness, involvement, policy and legislation in order to effect a viable resolution of the current kill quandary.
