The world knows Kenya as a nation that dominates distance running but few people know the athletes' stories. This film documents the lives and training of three runners who dream of becoming the best runners in the world.Their goal, shared by thousands of Kenyans, is pursued in a place where people are hopeful that success just around the corner. The altitude and climate of the western highlands is considered ideal for running. However, what makes Kenya unique is an optimism that in running anything is possible through hard work and dedication. The reality though is few runners make it to the world stage each year.
