(R)evolution (2001)

In a dark and dingy laboratory, sometime in the not too distant future, a scientist toils away attempting to create life. Using a mixture of clay, science and potions in equal measures, he fails in the attempt until he accidentally discovers the missing ingredient. Unfortunately, he leaves the room before witnessing his success. The creatures he creates swiftly evolve, living out their entire lives on the laboratory table. As they each gain an evolutionary advantage to enhance their survival, they fight, find weapons, love, intelligence and religion.
