The Comedian

After five years in Los Angeles, wanna-be comedian Jack Gibbons is forced to face the reality that his dream is a failure. With no other options, he does the one thing he said he would never do...go home. Jack gives up on his dream and moves back home with his dad in Kentucky, takes a job as a door-to-door life insurance salesman, and falls for a single mother that he meets at a support group while trying to buy drugs. Surprisingly to Jack, he starts to like his new life, but longs for the dream he never realized. In this true to life dramedy, Jack struggles between choosing the safety of his hometown and the lure of his seemingly unattainable dream.
