Kung Fu Charlie (2009)

After years of being bullied and being an outcast, Charlie has accepted himself as a geek in high school. Though after one day when the most popular girl in school, Meggie, actually gave Charlie and chance and talked to him her boyfriend Chad made a note to let Charlie feel it with a sucker punch to the face. Heartbroken and hurt Charlie watches a Jackie Chan movie and is inspired. Charlie is motivated to learn martial arts so he flies to China in search of a Kung Fu Master. He's successful in his trip and meets The Master, an old hermit who lives in the forest who take Charlie on as his student. After weeks of training they are ambushed by a Ninja who works for The Masters old Rival, revealing he has kidnapped Meggie! Charlie sets off to confront The Master's old Rival to rescue Meggie! While in search of the Rival he meets another strange fellow, Little Sammy Chung. Together the two boys go off on what becomes a coming of age adventure of a life time.
