A Light Touch (2012)

Summer in Sydney. It hasn't rained in weeks. An immigrant widow, Marion, travels every day to clean for a reclusive blind man, Oscar. Both are lonely, disconnected and on the outskirts of society. Marion struggles in the sighted world, confronted with her fading looks, Oscar is a bitter and self punishing alcoholic. Within his old terrace house, Marion secretly observes Oscar, discovering his private tactile world. Her senses are enlivened and an intimate story of desire and awakening unfolds.
