Nick Gautier (and you better pronounce it correctly as "Go-Shay" unless you want trouble) was your average 14-year-old Cajun boy growing up in the French quatre of New Orleans. He was nothing special or so he thought, just a poor boy full of hormones playing football and lusting after the cheerleaders, while trying not to get on the wrong side of his mother. She was the most important person in his life, the one person he would do anything for to protect, she was his everything and he was hers. Whether Nick Gautier liked it or not, he was destined to become The Malachai . Born in violence to do violence. The most feared and powerful being in the universe. Who one day, will either be the world's salvation against all evil or the world's damnation that will destroy everything and everyone, even those he loves.
