Sand Castle (2017)

In the wake of enlisting just before 9/11, a soldier, not known for bravery but compelled by a desire to defend freedom, arrives in post-occupation Baghdad in 2003. Leading a small infantry platoon, he is assigned the challenging task of providing water to a war-ravaged village. Against the backdrop of a hostile environment, the seemingly simple acts of water transportation, distribution, and plumbing reconstruction become poignant tests of valor during wartime.
