Body of God (2013)

Body of God is the first documentary ever to depict the history of modern body modification from its start in the early 1940s until its worldwide breakthrough in the 90s. Body of God tells the story of how Fakir Musafars experiments on his body as a 12 year old boy in South Dakota in early 1940s expanded to a worldwide phenomenon by the middle of the 1990s. I had to live a long time before the world caught up with how I felt inside, Fakir Musafar says.
