Fritz (2013)

'Fritz' is a documentary film which tells the story of a deaf 70 year old artist whose girlfriend has recently passed away. The film explores his travels to NYC in 1977 to become a professional artist. From unique perspectives on life to his physical deformities, love of pranks and his strained relationship with his brother, the fun loving little prankster shares all with the camera crew. Filming over the course of two years, the project helps pull Fritz out of the deep sadness of his girlfriend Darlene's passing. Interviews with working artists, gallerists and writers across America provide a collective voice on what goes into 'making it' in the art world.
