Reminiscent of American Beauty and The Descendants - A LATE DIVORCE is a satirical and poignant family drama with dark comedic undertones. Expecting a baby with his Israeli lover, the 60-year old college professor and patriarch of an American family, returns to the California Redwoods from his self-imposed exile to finalize a divorce from his institutionalized wife.
