Juniper watches Margaret and Eoin Laoghaire as they struggle to come to terms with a terrible loss. Margaret doesn't know how to move on without feeling immense guilt, and Eoin remembers to forget as much as he can. In a frenzied moment of grief, the unspoken anguish of past months forces the couple to confront their fears and find solace in each other. All the while Juniper - a spirit, a memory - searches for a way to connect with, and help Margaret. A simple lullaby, a delicate flower and the glimmer of stars on a still dark night help to bring together two souls, a mother and a daughter, one in a human body and the other no longer bound to this earthly realm.
