1MicCypher is a TV show that celebrates hip-hop as a community building art form with the power to transcend racial, gender and cultural boundaries globally. 1 Mic Cypher is an unscripted music based reality series, which highlights a cyclical Hip-Hop competition. Starting off with a global search for the best Hip-Hop lyricist. The contestants compete in music-based challenges designed to sharpen their lyrical skills and grow their knowledge of the music business, while being mentored by Super Producer & Hip-Hop Legend, Professor Daddy-O of the group Stetsasonic. 1 Mic Cypher is an advertiser's dream because it is generally through this form of music that new fads are birthed. 1 Mic Cypher will begin with a Nationwide Contestant Search and narrowed down to the top 15 contestants. Hip-Hop Legend and Super Music Producer Professor Daddy-O will mentor the primary10 contestants. Throughout the competition contestants will have the chance to win an opportunity to perform with Hip-Hop Legends. Contestants will also compete in weekly individual creation and group cypher challenges in front of a live studio audience, celebrity judges and industry professionals. During the show Contestants also learn the art of Hip-Hop and its basic components. The last contestant standing will receive, 1 album production deal to be produced by a well-known producer and several guest appearances by major Hip-Hop artists and legends. Any contestant that fails to perform, must hang up his/her headset, drop the Mic and is put on the wall to be eliminated.
