The Sun Can Blind (2013)

Paulo lost hist virginity with Maria, the maid who lives in his house. Amid the chaos and nerves of youth the social differences appear when he tells that to his friend. This is my first film as a writer and director, and is the first part of trilogy of films about Brazilian teenagers. The film was selected for many festivals all around Brazil, like Tiradentes, Sao Paulo Film festival and Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal. The film was featured by Folha de Sao Paulo, the most respected Brazilian newspaper as one of the best brazilian short films of the year, because of the courage in portraying the social differences of the country showing a relationship of exploration.
