Winged Things (2014)

Fester is a selfish, unprincipled and poor excuse for a decent human being, who one morning, enters his bedroom to come face to face with his Guardian Angel, Denis, hanging by a noose from his ceiling fan. Reading the hateful suicide note left for him, Fester reads that Denis has been led to suicide at the thought of spending a lifetime protecting someone as immoral and moronic as Fester. After this grim introduction into the world of angels, Fester must find a way to get himself another Guardian Angel before death takes him, while down the road, developing a love-hate relationship with a new companion, a bubbly, loud and lovable angel, Jemima.
