Logline In 1820, the Reverend Patrick Bronte moved to the village of Haworth in Yorkshire , with his wife, Maria Branwell, their son Branwell, and their four daughters. A year later, Maria dies. Then the two eldest daughters both die at the age of 10 and 11 years old. Patrick faced this series of tragedies by instilling in his children a love for the arts. He had great hopes to see Branwell, his only son, become an eminent poet. Alas vain hope, Branwell would go on to loose himself into a life of debauchery. It is elsewhere that the work of the reverend will bear its fruits. His three remaining daughters; Charlotte, Emily and Anne will go on to write a significant chapter of English literature.
