Dance of Liberation (2014)

Born in Israel, Sigalit Bat Haim was separated from her father as a child. Raised in the US and Israel she struggled with severe learning disabilities. Dance became her form of expression and future until a debilitating injury ended that dream. Discovering yoga leads to her spiritual rebirth as Parashakti, 13 years of study and ceremonial service with native american elders and the creation of her own transformative healing practice, the Dance Of Liberation. Devastated by a collapsed marriage, Parashakti suffers the wounds of the child who lost her father and deep connections to Israel are reopened. In order to heal herself she must reconnect with her father. We follow Parashakti as she seeks acceptance in the desert of Israel.
