Doctor Wen Er Du is an experienced Mongolian doctor whose expertise in Mongolian medicine has helped him cure countless patients. However, as he ages, he finds it increasingly difficult coping with the workload. Hao Ri Wa, a medical school graduate, knocks on his door, hoping to be taken under his wing. But Wen constantly makes it difficult for Hao. Eventually Hao impresses Wen with his perseverance, hard work and kindheartedness.
