Bread & Salt

Bread & Salt, is a 40 minute observational film that chronicles the three days seventeen housewives from all over Lebanon came together to cook lunch in Copenhagen for 600 of the worlds top chefs and foodies. All of these women are united by working at Lebanon's only farmer's market, whilst some have never left Lebanon before this will be the first time they all cook together. Will they allow their differences to get in the way of their cooking? In the end, this film is about progress and tradition and how these two ideas are not conflicted. That by preserving and celebrating traditional dishes, people, no matter where they are from or what they believe, will come together.
