During the militant's attack on the US consulate, scenes of violence are depicted with details such as brief spurting of blood as the two sides exchange fire with each other. Characters who are injured during the attacks are also covered in blood. Another man is cut in half by machine gun fire (brief but very visible).
Apart from the violence, there are also brief scenes of gore including a scene depicting the hands of a militant being blown off after setting off an explosive by accident. He walks around with part of his forearm and wrist detached from his body, spraying blood.
Other scenes include a soldier who is injured at his thighs being brought into a room for first aid, when he is laid down on the table, a fleeting shot of the gash can be seen, followed by some blood spurting from the wound
