Miedo (2017)

17-year-old Dulce and her boyfriend Mari are discovered when her mother comes home from work early. After an intense scolding from her mother, Dulce's father tries to help diffuse the situation. Later, Dulce takes her attention away from her two rambunctious younger sisters, when she realizes they've called 911 while playing. Dulce's family is undocumented. She and her mother rush to pack up their lives and escape before the authorities can arrive, leaving everything they know and love behind.
