Demonstrating the ease and efficiency of using American Airlines. First is shown the several methods of getting tickets, through their agencies, or Western Union, or even through the driver of their courtesy bus. Next, the passengers assemble at the air depot in Chicago and board a huge Curtiss Condor plane. Air Hostesses chat with the passengers, adjust their seats and serve lunch.(Sandwiches in wax paper, a paper cup of coffee, etc.). A short stop in Detroit, and back in the air.Seen are aerial views of several cities including Gary, Indiana and Niagra Falls, Ontario. When the plane arrives in New York, the narrator breathlessly exclaims that one can now have lunch in Chicago, and supper in New York. At the end, it's shown on a chart how air travel has increased from 1928 to 1933, and the cities on a map where AA routes obtain, mostly east of the Mississippi.
