Death Mask for Dada (2019)

A cemetery. A camera. A mounted deer head, an unlikely instrument of death. Samantha, an obsessed teenager, takes photos of gravestones and spins tales in her head of the lives and demise of the people on the stones. On the anniversary of her brother's death, Sam's long absent father or dada as she calls him, fails to show up to meet her, yet again. He sends gifts to make amends but Sam's not having any of it. She transforms these gifts and sends them back. Will it be enough to 'wake' him up? Will he ever show?
