Fool's Paradise (2023)

This comedy stars a deaf-mute man who is released from a mental health facility and heads to Hollywood, where he is discovered by a producer who notices the resemblance he bears to a difficult actor. A publicist, in turn, also discovers him and nicknames him "Latte Pronto": thus he becomes a star, rubbing shoulders with actors and actresses in the industry and winning a movie role. Will 'Latte' be able to sustain this lifestyle? A film with a parodic tone, in the director-screenwriter debut of actor Charlie Day.
