Tired of their lives in a tiny rural Australian town, Josephine, Rufus and Skip decide on Rufus' birthday to get out into the big wide world. But when the three become separated and Joey only catches up to Rufus standing over Skip's mangled body deep in the woods, murmuring something about a terrible monster, Joey doesn't know who to trust anymore.
