Mother's Day Gift (2018)

Mother's Day Gift is a short documentary that tells a touching story about the special relationship between Jaana and her daughter Liisa who died in a traffic accident at the age of 16. The film deals with the mother's grief as well as events before and after the death. At an early age the sensitive and peculiar girl said she received signs, some sorts of premonitions about things to come. Jaana took these signs lightly and was amused by them until Liisa had a premonition that she would die young. This led Jaana to wonder: how could she ever survive if that became reality?
