The 600 large stone sculptures are very characteristic of the Easter Island. Thor Heyerdahl, who led the historic Kon-Tiki expedition in 1955-56, returned to this island in 1986 with several archaeologists. This time the expedition managed to show that the statements of the old islanders were right: The sculptures had been shipped across the island. In the program we will see how the sculptures "go" over.
