La Flor (2018)

A veritable 14-hour cinematic odyssey: a labyrinthine tale of six episodes interwoven by the same four actresses, spanning genres ranging from a b-movie about mummies to musical melodrama, a spy thriller, a meta-narrative exploration, a remake of a Renoir classic and a 19th century captivity story. Each episode is a universe of its own, between worlds, fictions and multiple characters like a mesmerizing masked ball, where the monumental work of director Llinás pushes the limits of storytelling in an infinite epic.
