Message for Colonel Heifner (2018)

A military doctor plays hooky by staying at home instead of traveling to Geneva for a conference. At home, he tries his secret formula on himself. Days later, he has determined that the formula works: it eliminates muscle fatigue entirely, creating "super soldiers" with just one dose. But Dr. Von Horn realizes what an unbalancing impact his formula would have on the world if the military got it, and he decides to destroy all copies - even the copy inside his own head. He slashes his wrists, watching the blood pour out. But to his surprise, he doesn't die. He stabs himself, eats rat poison, shocks himself, shoots himself, drowns himself - unsuccessfully. He can't die. He realizes he is a zombie and then decides to blow up his house and go explore the world. But the military prevents the explosion and gets the formula anyway.
