The Lost Daughter (2021)

Leda is an adult woman on holiday in Greece, where she meets a family of tourists who stir up in her thoughts linked to traumas as well as insecurities and relationships with her daughters that unsettle her greatly. Throughout the film, the drama is intensified and heightened in its psychological complexity, with a brilliant lead performance by Olivia Colman and an incredible Jessie Buckley and Dakota Johnson, in this impressive directorial debut by actress Maggie Gyllenhaal.
