Ottavio Rosati directs the first psychodramas held on italian theaters. Both starting from plays by the Nobel Prize Luigi Pirandello's: "Questa sera si recita a soggetto" (Tonight we improvise) and "Ciascuno a suo modo" (Each one in his own way). Starring Zerka T. Moreno, wife and collaborator of Jacob Levi Moreno the father of psychodrama. Both with the collaboration of the Americanist Fernanda Pivano. The first (1983) for Teatro Stabile di Roma at Flaiano Theatre, with the participation of actors from the Living Theater. The second (1986) at Carignano Theater for Teatro Stabile di Torino, starring the Nobel Prize, Dario Fo who gives his voice to Jacob Levi Moreno. In Turin, Zerka Toeman Moreno performs the strange role of "La Moreno (che tutti sanno chi è)" and directs the psychodrama of Pier Luigi Pirandello, nephew of Luigi Pirandello and son of the painter Fausto Pirandello. The sociodrama about "Ciascuno a suo modo" triggers an organizational conflict and a social scandal similar to those that Pirandello imagined in his comedy set in the city of Turin. When the event's funding is in danger of being blocked by financial blackmail, Rosati goes to Naples and takes to Turin a Pazzariello, an advertising auctioneer who runs with his band through the streets of the city, denouncing the scandal. It is a winning turning point. Fifteen years later, Rosati will perform Fantasmi al Valle (2012) the socioplay of the third play of the Pirandello's trilogy: "Six Characters in Search of an Author". The magazine "Atti dello psicodramma" dedicates an issue to the event. This spin-off begins in 2002 in Sicily produced by the Teatro Stabile di Catania with Leo Gullotta in the role of Pirandello and will be concluded in 2012 at the Teatro Valle di Roma where in 1921 happened the stormy premiere of Six characters.
