Six months ago, Susanne was dumped by her husband. Not only an emotional, but also a social problem for them. Going out without her Peter, visiting friends - unthinkable. So Susanne denies having been abandoned. Only her best friend Maria knows about Susanne's not so new single status. Undeterred, Susanne plays the happy wife to her boss Andrea and her colleagues. One lie leads to the next, and during these six months Susanne got so caught up that she only goes to work and to her beloved synchronized water ballet. Otherwise she shuts herself up. But then new neighbors move in: the young single mother Kim and her seven-year-old daughter Saphir and her giant dog Ms. Hirschberger. All just impossible. Kim immature and irresponsible, Saphir cheeky, the dog a drooling monster. For Susanne, who just wants to be left alone, it's a real nuisance - and a great opportunity.
