Every year, sixty-four billion terrestrial animals and over a thousand billion fish are killed to feed humans. The fact that these beings are able to feel the pain poses important moral and ethical questions with regard to the fate reserved for them. Through discussions with actors and thinkers of animal ethics, Homo Herbivorus explores our relationship to the consumption of products derived from animal exploitation.
