L'Événement Avenir Lac-Mégantic (2013)

-To raise even more funds for the cause, the great show Avenir Lac-Mégantic was taped on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Bell Centre (at Montreal, Canada) and was broadcast simultaneously on the four French-language channels, ICI Radio-Canada Télé, TVA, V and Télé-Québec on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 8 to 10 p.m. For the occasion, the public was able to make donations live, over the phone via a call centre and on the web, throughout the program. "Avenir Lac-Mégantic" is a large-scale variety show, with a rich programming, both humorous and musical. Jasmin Roy was entrusted with directing the show, with Denis Bouchard as artistic director. The audience had the chance to see Peter MacLeod, Gino Chouinard and Pénélope McQuade in animation, Louis-José Houde, Rachid Badouri, Marie-Lise Pilote, François Morency, Anthony Kavanagh, P-A Méthot, Mariana Mazza and Mike Ward in humour, as well as Garou, Isabelle Boulay, Coeur de pirate, Jean-Marc Couture, Marc Dupré, Jérôme Couture, Kaïn, Annie Villeneuve and Jonas and The Massive Attraction in music.
