Mason is proud to be the loner at a teen mental health clinic. He is blind to others, and thinks he's got life all figured out - but when a young boy is admitted, he finds himself forced to open his eyes and make a connection despite himself. He seeks to find out if demons are creatures that hide in the night shadows, or deep in our souls.
