The Last Years of Abel Bernette (2018)

Teenager Abel Bernette has a bright, promising future. He has a great family, makes good grades, is a track athlete, involved in Junior ROTC, and is popular in high school. With plans for college and a positive outlook on life, this kid was going places - Destined for future greatness; heralded by his peers and adults. However, in the blink of an eye, everything changed. Abel became the victim of a hit and run accident. A tragedy which left Abel to deal with the after effects for the rest of his life.
