Boden's Mate (2019)

Eli is in a fatal car accident. When he wakes up he finds The Stranger playing chess in a bucolic setting. Eli joins the game and asks where he is. The Stranger is coy and eventually tells Eli that he's dead. As Eli loses the chess game Eli is on his way to Judgment Day. However, at the end, the tables are turned when the power positions of The Stranger and Eli are reversed and The Stranger faces Judgment.
