Dean McMorrow

Dean Mcmorrow was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Harvey and Patricia. His family is of Irish and Danish origin. HIs father worked for the State of Michigan while his mother stayed home to take care of he and his siblings. Growing up in a small city was far from boring for McMorrow. His mother and father felt it important that he and his siblings be exposed to and take part in the musical arts. From a young age, he and his siblings sang in local choirs and participated with various youth orchestral ensembles. They even sang in a gospel choir for one summer, their mother finding it very important that their children learned the values of diversity, inclusion, and community. A trained cellist, Dean had participated with various local community orchestras throughout the years. He did not develop an interest in acting until later in his life when he began studying with the Michigan Actor's Studio and Goteri Creative Arts. Dean resides in Detroit, MI and is active with the short film community.
