Nickolas Jacobs is an American actor born in Dallas, TX. His mother, Kathy, is a retired elementary school teacher and his father, Don, is a retired college professor of psychology. Nickolas discovered his passion for acting during his freshman year of college in Weatherford, TX in 2003. During his time there he landed several principal roles in both school and community productions. He soon won an acting award through The Texas Community College Speech and Theatre Association in 2004 for this portrayal of Tartuffe in Moliere's classic French comedy, Tartuffe. He later attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, CA in 2005, where he was able to further develop his craft in acting, singing, and dancing. In 2007 Jacobs returned to Texas where he enrolled in the Film/Radio/Television Department at The University of Texas at Austin. While a student there, he played the The Rebel in the short film Mad Tea (2008). In 2010 Nickolas choose to step away from the acting world to briefly pursue a professional ballroom dancing career. This brief side venture turned into a very successful teaching occupation and lead him to professionally compete with his partner in dance competitions all over the world. Over a decade later, Nickolas returned to his acting career in 2022 with the role of The Sentinel in the 11th Season of the hit FX television show American Horror Story. Nickolas has also published 2 novels; Freak Accident (2002) co-writer and Alpha (2015) under his pen name Nick Hush.
