A native New Yorker and a dual American and Italian citizen, Luca Rickman developed a passion for acting when he played Young Simba in his 5th grade production of "The Lion King Jr." Since then, he's taken every opportunity to do what he loves. He's been studying Method acting at the Lee Strasberg Young Actors program, where he won a "Best Actor" award in early 2020 for his role in a short film, and he attends the Drama Studio program at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School in New York. Equally adept at theater, musical theater and on-camera acting, he's performed in three musical productions with Piper Theatre Company since 2020, including as The Baker in "Into the Woods." In 2021, Luca earned his Young Thespian Society membership. In 2023, he was cast in the role of Derrick in the short film "The Redemption of Ricky Grey," a sequel to the award-winning short "The Revelations of Gavin Grey." He was also cast in the supporting role of Jake in "The Son of Gacy."
