Nita Rao

Nita Rao is an Indian-Australian writer/actor based in LA. Before moving into the entertainment industry in 2022, Nita was a World Debate Champion, an attorney at one of America's top law firms, and a classically trained singer and Bharatanatyam dancer. She holds a Master of Laws from Georgetown University. She has taught debate internationally including at Yale University, the Lebanese Debate Society, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Zimbabwean National Debate Championships. She created an English-language documentary podcast about Mexico-featuring an interview with former Mexican President Vicente Fox-and was recently awarded a Groundlings Diversity Scholarship. Her short film, The Arangetram, was selected for the 2023 M South Asian Film Lab.
