Richard Michael Manning Jr. was born in Staten Island, New York, to Sherryann Ferrara-Manning, and Richard M. Manning Sr. He lives with his parents, and one older sister, Tinamarie Manning, and brother-in-law, Anthony Ramos. Rich would begin his acting journey in 5th grade, performing in countless community Musical Theatre productions yearly, with Howell PAL Theatre Company, and extending his acting training and knowledge, attending Howell High School, and being accepted into their Fine Performing Arts Center (FPAC) program, in New Jersey. Having excelled in his Vocal, Dance, Acting, and Stage Combat training, in September 2018, Richard would attend Performing Arts Academy, where he'd study and prioritize both Film Acting, and Theatre work. Richard would take off to college, pursing a "Plan B" to have a net to fall back on in case he couldn't put his dreams into gear, but would face the realization it would hold him back from reaching those goals if he put his all into his safety net, so Richard would take a break from college and put his full time and ambition into acting, building a resume, acting in Independent Film Projects such as Crystal Cross (by Richie James Follin), Legal One, (directed by John Lynn), and tackling his first large scale production, Mean Girls Musical (directed by Samantha Jayne & Arturo Perez Jr. Screenplay and Script by Tina Fey). Richard is an ambitious, and promising young actor, always willing to dive head first into a new challenge, and take on any opportunity that steers in his direction, so given the chance.
